M&M Private Home
By request of the clients, we rethought the property on a structural level through redistribution of the space, where wood and earthy tones are predominant. We used the triple exposition by optimizing the height of the wooden-beamed ceiling. In this area flooded with light, we gathered the large living area. Above it, a mezzanine-studio opens up framed within an iron bannister – under which a peninsula kitchen extends over the entire wall – recreates a more intimate and cosy ambience. Two bedrooms with ensuite bathroom open up on the large hall, the latter looking like a theatre foyer whit a stair leading to the upper floor into the guest room. The lighting ranges from design pendant lamps to ceiling spotlights, enhancing the tone-on-tone chromatic nuances.
