For this working place, the customer requested a re-thinking of the spaces, with no structural intervention. Given the office’s international activity and the owners’ origin, we drew inspiration from travelling and from cultural contamination. We introduced a chromatic play going from the walls to the ceilings, making the latter the real protagonist, while broadening the space and verticalising the attention.
In order to emphasise this “high-altitude movement”, we installed aeroplane-shaped paper sculptures on the ceiling which come across the bright spheres and cubes of the 50’s-inspired lamps. In the working area, we replaced the workstations with design chairs and island-shaped desks and completed the transformation with graphic decorations.
